“You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.”
– Maya Angelou.
Our open category celebrates limitless creativity and everything photography can be, including composites, photography editing and manipulation.
Editing photography and even compositing has existed since the early days of film and landscape photography. Icon Ansel Adams was one of history’s great darkroom editors. Modern technology makes these historic techniques and new ones more accessible than ever before and allows us to produce photographic art that is only limited by our imagination.
We see digital photography as a completely valid and important part of the modern photographic story. This category represents the incredible photographic age we are living in. We are looking for your most innovative and original photography and can’t wait to see what this category brings.
Although we accept imagery that has been entered in other competitions we are on a mission to find original, undiscovered work we have not seen before.
